This is my 3rd Coronavirus Quarantine album! -- and in a way, it's a 'life flashing before my eyes' kind of project -- find herein counterfeits, fakes, my attempts to recreate what I love about albums taken at random from the pile of records that have changed and shaped my musical persona. In order, the songs on Eidolons: Vol. 1 are meant to sound like what I love about ->> Prince, ethnographic field recordings collected by Henry Cowell, original jugband recordings from the 1920's, ethnic fusion rockers, Mica Levi, the Beastie Boys, Amon Tobin, gospel blues artists of the 1920's, Ólafur Arnalds, U2 and Brian Eno, Jon Hassell and Brian Eno, angry militant hiphop from the 90's & Tom Waits, especially with Tchad Blake producing.
